Roja_chiranjeeviCriticism is not anything new or indifferent in politics. The dose has increased a bit more in the case of both the Telugu states. But then, it pains when the criticism is devoid of minimum human values.

A few days ago, Roja went to Chiranjeevi’s house with his family and took blessings of the Megastar after getting ministry. Chiranjeevi and Roja are on the opposite side ever since the Praja Rajyam days and Roja always criticized the Megastar.

Chiranjeevi still welcomed her warmly. Today he is an apolitical man and has also reached out to Jagan even when his brother is fighting in the Opposition.

But then, still Roja criticizes Chiranjeevi when she makes comments on Pawan Kalyan.

Speaking at a Pressmeet, Roja said, “They are one family who did not do anything for the people. So three of them lost in their own district. MGR, Jayalalithaa, and NTR gave up everything to serve the people and became CMs. These three do not have a political future”.

Criticizing Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu is okay because they are in politics but criticizing someone like Chiranjeevi is totally unfair.

It is unfair because Chiranjeevi is not in politics and comments about his political future are irrelevant. And then, saying Chiranjeevi has done nothing to society is again atrocious.

Actors earn money from people but there is no obligation on their part to give it to the people. Chiranjeevi, however, is doing that through his blood bank, eye bank, and many such initiatives.

There are many fans who come forward to take part in such charity thanks to the motivation given by Chiranjeevi. The Megastar has even donated a big amount to film workers during Corona and even launched Oxygen banks to help the needy.

What Chiranjeevi did may not be comparable to what the governments do, but he is certainly doing better than many actors who feel no compulsion to give it back to society. The second club includes Roja as well.

Except for what it takes to win an election, it will be a million-dollar question for anyone to answer what Roja did for society or the people.

And now, we have her saying that family never did anything for society.

But then as we said earlier, there is no compulsion on anyone to do charity. So, there is no reason to criticize Roja. But for Roja to make such an allegation about Chiranjeevi is atrocious.

It is too much of an ask to demand decency from politicians especially those high in power. But Roja should have at least avoided that lunch at Chiranjeevi’s residence or should have at least confined herself to criticizing Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu.

Even if the lunch got digested, she should have remembered that Chiranjeevi is the first star to curb any ego and plead with the Chief Minister with folded hands.
