Road Blocks for KCR's Federal Front TrialsTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is on a tour to bring in more allies for his Federal Front. He met Kerala Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan the other day in a bid to get the support of the CPI(M). The CMO already announced that KCR will also meet DMK Chief Minister, MK Stalin on 13th of this month.

But then, the meeting is not likely to happen as Stalin feel that such a meeting will send the Wrong Signal as they have a pre-poll alliance with Congress in Tamil Nadu. As we all know, KCR is pitching for a Federal Front which is devoid of both the National Parties – Congress and BJP.

After having sent media alerts, this came as a massive embarrassment. We are told that the TRS Supremo is trying to have at least an ‘apolitical’ meeting for a face-saver. So, a Press Alert was sent once more saying that the meeting is neither confirmed nor denied. “A clear picture will emerge by May 10th depending on Stalin schedule who is busy campaigning for May 19 assembly by-polls,” the Press Alert said.

On the other side, Karnataka CM Office also confirmed that KCR spoke to CM Kumaraswamy last week but the call was apolitical in nature. JDS reiterated that the party choice for the Prime Minister is Rahul Gandhi. It is known that JDS and Congress have together formed the Government in Karnataka.
