KCR_ Dissolve_Telangana_AssemblyTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao looked very comfortable in his first term but he surprised everyone by going for early elections. He got re-elected very comfortably despite Opposition alliances.

This term has been different. BJP posed a considerable challenge to BRS in by-elections and to counter the Saffron party, KCR had to transform TRS into BRS and speak about national ambitions.

Due to the first term experience, there are doubts if KCR will once again go for an early election.

BJP which grew on the strength of winning the by-election was on the back foot ever since it forced a by-election with Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy. The election exposed the weakness of the BJP and from there, the party and its leaders appeared as if they were clueless.

There are differences between the party seniors and there is no hiding as well. The rift between Bandi Sanjay and Eetela Rajender is clearly evident and hurting the party.

At the same time, BRS has gone into election mode and started preparation. The party’s high command has gone into a huddle and is ironing out the issues in districts and is already in the election mood.

So, it appears like KCR may dissolve the assembly very soon and it is the right time now.
