Revanth Reddy’s elevation to Telangana PCC President seems to be affecting BJP more than the TRS. Reports are emerging that former TDP leaders who joined BJP are looking to shift to Congress to work under Revanth Reddy’s leadership.
Former TDP leaders – Boda Janardhan and Ramesh Rathod who are currently in BJP are reportedly gearing up to join Congress in the coming days. Ramesh Rathod joined BJP only a couple of weeks ago along with Eatala Rajender.
His son, however, is in Congress and is pressuring his father to join the Grand old party. Boda Janardhan was a four-time MLA and Ramesh Rathod is a former MLA Revanth Reddy is in touch with former TDP leaders to join Congress as such joinings will showcase the party strong.
Even though such leaders in TRS are also target, they are unlikely to come out of a party which is ruling the state. So for now, BJP will be facing the brunt.
