Relieved Power employees gets respite from High courtHyderabad high court had finally given some respite for over 1200 power employees relieved by Telangana government. The high court had given midterm orders for Telangana government to continue them until the division of employees is decided by the centre.

The court urged Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments to pay their salaries in the ratio of 58 and 42. The court also urged to settle their pending salaries in four weeks time. These employees were not paid their salaries for more than four months.

The court in the past had reminded the center to intervene in the issue and resolve it amicably but the center did not make any steps in that direction. This controversy is not likely to subside even now as it is not rational for AP to pay salaries when the employees are serving Telangana government.
