Mukesh Ambani Reliance Announced the Sensational Jio First Day First Show

Speaking at Reliance AGM 2019, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries made a crucial announcement. Ambani announced ‘Jio First Day First Show’ for Jio Giga fiber Users. It is a Premium Paid Service to watch movies at home on the same day as theatres.

This service will be launched in Mid-2020. More details and feasibility of this service are awaited. This service is going to be a game-changer for Indian Film Viewing habits. However, theaters are already begin suffered due to the advent of OTT and this service if happens will hit them further.

Jio Giga Fiber will have its Commercial launch on 5th September 2019. The Tariffs are yet to be announced and the lowest speed is 100 MBPS. The Service will come with Bundled OTT Premium Subscriptions. It will also come up with a free LED TV and Jio HD / 4K Set Box as a part of Jio Giga Fiber Welcome Offer.

This service is going to be a business disrupter for the DTH service providers just like how Reliance Jio did for Mobile Services.
