We have already finished the Second Day of Nominations for Telangana Elections and the nominations will be accepted only till 19th of this month. The candidates from the ruling party and the opposition who already got the B-Forms are filing their nominations. But then, the parties are still bogged down by the tension of the Rebels.
The headache is equal to the ruling party as well as the main Opposition Party, Congress. Even though TRS has announced the names of over 100 contestants more than two months ago, the party is still unable to rein the Rebels. Congress had to deploy Private Security at Gandhi Bhavan to prevent the Rebels and the Supporters inside.
Many of the Rebel Candidates are capable enough to ruin the chances of their parties. Hence, it is important for the parties to convince them to withdraw from the fray. The headache is more for Congress as it had to forego some seats for the allies of Mahakutami. The party which handles the menace of Rebels well will have better chances in the election for sure.
