YSR Congress started a vicious campaign saying that the mask fell off, the secret nexus is out, blah blah. It is known that CM Jagan is already targeting TV5 along with other media houses calling them Yellow Media.
At this juncture, TV5 and TDP only gave a weapon to YSR Congress. But here is the real story of what has happened.
Singer Smitha who is into social service programs these days is hosting a Talkshow, Nijam with Smitha for the popular OTT Platform, SonyLIV.
She is interviewing celebrities from all walks of life for the show. Impressed by her social service activities, Chandrababu Naidu also agreed.
TV5 recently constructed state-of-art studios in their office. Smitha and SonyLIV team have leased a studio for the shooting of Nijam. Chandrababu came to the show shoot.
When a former Chief Minister has visited, it is a usual practice to accord him a grand welcome. TV5 management just did that.
But they have gone overboard using that for their PR relaying News that Chandrababu visited the TV5 office without telling the actual reason.
But YSR Congress used it against both TDP and TV5. TV5’s Over-enthusiasm has caused it.
