With the new Capital yet to be decided for Seemandhra, politicians seem to have found an opportunity to play their game. While the power of deciding which city is to be made as the new capital resides with the centre, the politicians seem to have made big plans of making the most out of it.
Although Seemandhra has thirteen districts on whole, almost ten districts are contending to become the new capital. And this is where the tables turn. Generally, a capital will be set up where there is lots of government land and a scope for development. But even before the capital has been decided, by spreading rumours that a certain city is going to become the capital, real estate mafia are playing their part of the game. The raise in land value is touching the roof.
And almost every politician is demanding the centre that their city should be made the capital so that they can get their set of votes and are not thinking about the welfare of the future of the state.
