Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is touring Rayalaseema where the party is severely battered in 2019. Surprisingly the TDP supremo received a humongous response from the people.
Naidu is attracting people with interesting promises.
He is particularly cashing on the mistakes committed by the Jagan government in district reorganization.
The people of Madanapalli and Rajampeta were hurt about not becoming separate districts. Naidu mentioned that and promised to make justice for them after coming to power.
People of Nagari have demanded to be added to Tirupati district but it is ignored.
Chandrababu promised to do that after coming to power. He also promised a Textile park and 500 units of free power for weavers in Nagari as there is a huge weavers population.
He also promised a permanent solution to water pollution due to dye factories.
These promises got a huge response from the people of these areas.
Recognition of Agnikula Kshatriyas as BCs and lifting the ban of Nalla Bellam to benefit sugarcane farmers also got good traction.
