A junior artist and YouTuber approached the SR Nagar police alleging she was raped and cheated by Rohith Khan (26). He had promised to marry her.
According to the report on TOI, the 29-year-old woman from Borabanda is five months pregnant now. About two years ago, she became friends with the suspect Rohith Khan. They came close to each other and he proposed to her, which she accepted.
They met on several occasions at different locations where he sexually exploited her after promising to marry her.
When she raised the issue of marriage recently, Rohith started avoiding her. Apart from refusing to marry her, he started abusing and threatening her.
The SR Nagar police booked a case of rape, cheating, criminal intimidation, and other offenses, based on her complaint, and started investigating.
