Star Director SS Rajamouli is working with the architects of Norman Fosters and Partners in finalizing the designs of the Assembly building in Andhra Pradesh’s new capital city, Amaravati. His design was not accepted by the Chief Minister but will be used for Media City which will come up in the Capital area.
But then, one of the ideas of Rajamouli for the installation of Telugu Talli in the proposed Assembly building has been okayed. The rays of Sun fall on the presiding deity of Arasavalli when the sun enters from Uttarayana to Dakshinayana and vice-versa.
Using the same concept and latest technology, Rajamouli proposed to have sun rays falling on the feet of Telugu Thalli statue installed in Assembly Central Hall every day. The concept video is put online and has got a tremendous response from the people. “This is one of the ideas that I proposed.. Thanking @ncbn garu for giving me the opportunity to explore new avenues,” he tweeted on this occasion.
