Rain Threat Looms Large on the Epic Clash of India and PakistanThe ongoing World Cup seems to be eclipsed with the Rains. We have seen three games getting washed away. India’s last fixture with Newzealand got called off even without the Toss Taking Place. Now, all eyes are on Sunday’s match between India and Pakistan which is definitely the match of the Tournament.

However, the disappointing news is that Sunday’s match at Old Trafford will be Rain-hit. The weather office currently says there’s a 60% chance of rain in Manchester, where the arch-rivals are scheduled to clash. If that happens, we can safely assume that this Tournament is a Damp Squid.

Lying eighth in the table after four games, one of which was rained off, Pakistan desperately needs a win to stay relevant in the tournament. The team management is well aware of the enormity of the task. On the other side, India which has played three games (One Rain-Hit) has got five points.

Pakistan is yet to defeat India in any of the World Cup matches. Since 2006, the two teams have contested 30 ODIs and India have bagged 19, a win percentage of 63.33 percent. So, the odds are clearly in favor of India should the Rain Gods allow both the teams to take the field.
