BC Associations President and TDP MLA, R Krishnaiah is planning to float a New Political Party and the announcement may come in August revealed his supporters. Krishnaiah joined Telugu Desam Party before the 2014 Elections.

Out of desperation, Chandrababu Naidu announced him as the party’s Chief Minister Candidate to woo the BC voters. Krishnaiah won from LB Nagar but TDP is confined only to a handful of seats. Later Krishnaiah dissociated from the party citing no importance to him and is operating independently.

There are rumours that he held talks with the ruling TRS Party as well but has finally decided to float his own party. It has to be seen if his party will have an influence in the state politics given that BCs form the major chunk of voters in the state.
