There are a lot of speculations about the next President of BJP Andhra Pradesh State Unit. Ambitious BJP supporters want the party to have a man from the anti-TDP pack to ensure that the party grows in the truncated state.
But the party high command kept on postponing it and recently gave an extension to the current President, Haribabu. But things have changed rapidly after that and TDP has come out of the NDA alliance. Now the speculations are rife once again about the change.
Earlier Somu Veerraju was said to be the frontrunner, now we are hearing that Manikyala Rao is the choice of the Sangh Parivar. He had to resign as the State Endowments Minister after TDP pulled out of NDA alliance. In such case, Haribabu may be taken into the Union Cabinet.
