Potluri Vara Prasad’s entry in to Telugu Desam Party is almost confirmed. PVP was earlier YSR Congress’ Vijaywada MP In-charge. However he differed with Jagan over the issues of the constituency and parted ways. Few weeks back, he met Telugu Desam President Chandra Babu Naidu and requested him for Vijayawada MP seat.However Chandra Babu made it clear that Kesineni Nani is already allotted that seat and is not possible.
It is said that PVP may be given Eluru MP seat. Maganti Babu is the in-charge of the seat. Despite all the hard work, Maganti is not able to win the seat for the last two times. So, now PVP may be given the seat and Maganti will be given Kaikaluru MLA seat. However, Telugu Desam forces are not fully happy with PVP’s entry in to the party as he is a close aide of Jagan and is also involved in Jagan’s corruption cases.
