Badminton player P. V. Sindhu came into fame when she became the first woman to win a silver medal in Badminton at the Rio Olympics. Since then, she has become a source of inspiration to millions of Indians and it is not surprising that a movie is being made on her life story. What is surprising though is that it is likely that Sindhu herself will play a cameo in her own biopic!
Sindhu’s biopic is being produced by Sonu Sood although the name of the actress who will step in her shoes has not been announced yet. However, rumours state that this actress could quite likely be Deepika Padukone. The film is currently in the scripting stage itself although Sonu Sood is quite keen on the athlete herself making an appearance in the movie.
The life of P. V. SIndhu who has been playing Badminton since she was merely an 8 year old child is an inspiration to many. In fact, for her achievements, P.V. Sindhu has also been offered the position of a Deputy Collector in Andhra Pradesh.
