Rio Olympics silver medalist PV Sindhu lost the Hong kong Super Series finals against Tai Tzu-Ying of Taiwan. It has been a great disappointment as expectations raised on her winning in finals of Hong Kong too after Sindhu’s spectacular performance at China Open First Super series.
She lost the two rounds of the series with a score in first round 15-21 and second round 17-21 against Tai Tzu-Ying who was not an easy assignment to handle. With the past winning at china open series, Sindhu was made India’s highest ranked female in Shuttle after Saina.
Congratulations to Tzu-Ying who made it to finals after a win on Rio Olympics gold medalist Carolina Marin and took the series to Taiwan.
