Punjab Tries to Sneak in Kia Opportunity

Share

It has become a sensation in Andhra Pradesh after an International News Agency published an article of Kia Motors planning to shift from Anantapur to Tamil Nadu. The article said there were preliminary talks and the Secretary-level talks would happen the next week.

Andhra Pradesh Government vehemently refuted any such possibility. Meanwhile, Punjab tried to sneak in the opportunity trying to lure Kia Motors on Twitter. The state’s Invest Punjab Official Twitter account tweeted to Kia Motors inviting to invest in their state.

It has mentioned that Punjab has “NO DOMICILE” restrictions on Hiring. It has also offered several benefits under many progressive reforms for the industry. Obviously, the handle was mocking the 75% Jobs to the Locals law brought up by YSR Congress Government recently.

Keeping aside the sarcasm and rest aside, Kia Motors is not going anywhere for now but this will have an impact on future investments and investors credibility.
