Telangana government is gearing up for the microlevel survey across the 10 districts of Telangana on 19th of this month. The survey which is projected as prerequisite to decide the social and economic conditions of the people for various social welfare schemes, also will be used to decide the nativity of the people residing in the state. Even though the government says the intention is not that, there are doubts all over in this issue.
Hyderabad has a history of hosting and providing refuge to people from all parts of the world. There is a possibility of government apprehending the rights of settlers to please the locals. According to the trusted sources, intelligence department already warned the government to use utmost precision in deciding the nativity, lest there should be a public revolt on the government. It’s time Hyderabad shows its magnanimity once again, while duly protecting and promoting the interests of the locals. Lets see how the government handles it!
