Protests-Rock-Telangana's-Biggest-Corona-Treatment-FacilityProtests are Rocking Telangana’s Biggest Coronavirus Treatment facility – Gandhi Hospital. 800 contract employees are on a strike demanding pay hike and Job regularization. Around 200 nurses are also protesting inside the premises. And today, they are joined by 620 sanitation, security, and patient care personnel.

They are protesting outside the premieres demanding regularisation and salary hike. These protests are happening even as the state is threatened by a dangerous Pandemic. The efforts of the Government to take care of the frontline workers have come under question with these protests.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao who has been missing for around two weeks came back to Pragathi Bhavan three days ago and there is no news about him reviewing the Corona control measures or the ongoing protests in Gandhi Hospital.

According to the medical bulletin released last night, there are a total of 36,221 confirmed Corona cases in the state. The contagious virus so far claimed 365 lives.
