Elections are done and dusted and the Voters’ Verdict is sealed in Electronic Voting Machines which will be opened only on May 23rd. TDP and YSR Congress have their own calculations about how the election has gone their way. The Media supporting both their sides seems to be playing a significant role in impacting the party supporters.
Pro-TDP media is playing a cautious game keeping the expectations in check. They have come out of the election mood and are concentrating on Chandrababu Naidu’s campaign against BJP in the other state. On the other side, Pro-YSR Congress media is transporting the party supporters to a different World.
Discussions are on about how Chandrababu Naidu is using his office to tamper the evidence of his scams. They have even gone to the extent of discussing the probable venue for Jagan’s Swearing-in ceremony and the composition of the Cabinet. Interestingly, the same media is equally confident about YSR Congress Victory after the 2014 elections.
But the results back then came in a week after the elections and this time, we have around one and half months. If at all, YSR Congress loses this election, the supporters will have a very tough time to come out of the shock. Moreover, they are also encouraged into heavy betting in favor of YSR Congress which may ruin their lives.
