YSR Congress Leader Ambati Rambabu made some obnoxious comments on Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. Ambati who contested on Kodela and lost in the last elections. Ambati went on to say that if there is Number One Criminal in AP, it is Speaker Kodela.
The assembly has taken these comments seriously and the government will move a privilege motion on Ambati Rambabu for these comments. Ambati has to give a proper answer to these comments or face action recommended by the Assembly.
According to rules, the Assembly has the cognizance to punish any citizen if found to be infringing the rights of the house or making untoward comments on the house or the Speaker. This is not the first time YSR Congress has resorted to cheap comments on the chair.
