Prime Minister Modi To Attend Three Capitals' Ground-Breaking Ceremony?Andhra Pradesh High Court had ordered Status Quo on the Three Capitals issue. The State Government approached the Supreme Court for a stay on these orders and the apex court is likely to take up the petition tomorrow and as of now, the outcome is not known to anyone.

But then, the State Government is gearing up to have the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the three capitals on the 16th of this month. The Chief Minister’s Office sought the appointment of the PMO so that the Chief Minister can invite PM Modi for this event.

Along with the three capitals Ground Breaking Ceremony, Jagan is keen on having Modi for the Program of distribution of house sites to the Poor on the same day. The Chief Minister will request the PM to attend in person or by video-conferencing (in the wake of COVID conditions).

With this move, it is clear that Jagan wants to stay in the Good Books of the BJP High Command. But the Prime Minister attending this event will send a wrong signal and would also dampen the spirit of the BJP cadre. Back then, Modi performed the Ground-Breaking Ceremony of Amaravati. It has to be seen if he will attend this event which is deemed as a death blow for the concept of Amaravati.
