President’s-rule-in-Andhra-

Andhra Pradesh is clearly heading towards President’s Rule following Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s resignation a short while. Governor Narasimhan had already approved his resignation. Congress High Command do not want to risk to replace some other in the chair as the government is uncertain with Seema Andhra MLAs resigning. We are said that Congress is planning to impose President’s rule until the state bifurcation is complete.

President’s rule will also make things easy to move state bifurcation process smoothly. So in all probability Congress led UPA Government may opt for this option. The Central Cabinet will be meeting today evening at 5 PM. This is only the second occasion in which AP came under President’s Rule. On the wake of Jai Andhra movement, President’s rule was imposed in AP from Jan 11,1973 to December 11,1973.
