President rule looming large on AP!

With bifurcation process almost nearing end, Congress high command is now concentrating on AP affairs following the resignation of Kiran Kumar Reddy. Congress Core Committee met a short while ago in Prime Minister’s office at Parliament and discussed in detail about the state. While several Seemandhra Congress leaders laid stake for the CM post, it is said that it will not be wise to appoint some one of either regions while the state is being bifurcated.

Also the Center feels bifurcation process will be smooth if President’s ruling is in place. An official announcement regarding this will be out in a day or two. However this will come as a huge disappointment for some Seemandhra leaders who have planned to occupy the chair for some months and repair their poll prospects in the region. This is only the second occasion in which AP came under President’s Rule. On the wake of Jai Andhra movement, President’s rule was imposed in AP from Jan 11,1973 to December 11,1973.
