With elections nearing in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy is attending some public meetings in the name of various welfare schemes.
For more than three years, Jagan is confined only to recorded Pressmeets in his Tadepalli residence. He is coming out only recently.
But then, the tours are troubling the people big time. We have seen the authorities getting the shops closed, barricading the roads, shutting down the schools and colleges, forcibly taking Dwacra women and students to the meetings, canceling all bus services, etc.
We have even seen them asking girls to take off Dupattas while entering Public meetings. The other day, Jagan attended a Public meeting in Narsipatnam.
The authorities imposed a power cut in the area half an hour before Jagan came and gave the power only half an hour after he went.
When asked by people, they said it is a part of security measures for the Chief Minister. People are shocked by this new rule.
We will have a summer setting in a month or two and which means people in the areas where Jagan will be touring will have a horrendous time in the future.
