After going back on the promises like Special Status and Vishakapatnam Railway Zone, whenever we ask what BJP led Central Government did to the state we get the list of various Central institutions. But then, in reality, these institutions are not moving an inch in the ground level.
IIT and IISR in Tirupati would need 2200 Crore for completion but then they got only a paltry 121 Crores until now. IIM in Vishakapatnam needs 900 Crore but has got only 83 Crore until now. This is the position of a premiere institution in the Parliamentary Constituency held BJP State President.
Overall, Nine key institutions will need about 9000 Crore but then the center did not even sanction 1000 Crore for all of them put together meaning they will take forever to complete. Most of them are having classes in temporary campuses.
There are fewer takers for such institutions due to meager facilities and also no proper staff. Not at least one of these nine institutions will be operating from a permanent campus at least by 2019 which reveals the commitment of BJP towards Andhra Pradesh which they call a Special State.
