Police Complaint on Pawan KalyanPulivendula Municipal Chairman Varaprasad and some other YSR Congress leaders from Pulivendula complained at the local police station about Janasena President Pawan Kalyan‘s comments at a public meeting in Tirupati.

They alleged that Pawan Kalyan’s comments on Pulivendula are derogatory and they were hurt by these attempts to portray the region and the people in poor light. “Repeated attempts are being made to showcase this area as a land of Rowdies and Goondas. We are very much hurt,” they mentioned in the complaint.

“Pulivendula region is the birthplace of love, affection, and bravery. The people of this region have provided two good chief ministers for the state. Pawan Kalyan who survived on the packages given by TDP and BJP had no moral right to talk about the people of Pulivendula. He should unconditionally apologize to the people,” Varaprasad said after giving the complaint.

SI Gopinath Reddy told the media that the complaint has been accepted and the case will be filed if necessary after the preliminary investigation. Legal experts say these cases are more like ego-satisfying attempts of the Ruling Party and can barely stand in the courts.
