Earlier Last Month, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi inviting him to inaugurate the first phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project on November 28th. But the state government is yet to receive a nod from the PMO.
The state government is hopeful of completing the 30-km stretch of Hyderabad Metro Rail from Miyapur to Nagole will be ready by November 20th. The inaugural ceremony will take place at Miyapur Metro depot and the PM may take a ride from Miyapur to Ameerpet.
Buzz is that PMO will give a confirmation only after the assurance that the work will be complete by then. Modi does not want to have a namesake inauguration. After the inauguration, the Miyapur-Nagole stretch will be open to the public. The Project Developer, L&T and the Government of Telangana will finalize the fares very soon.
