Going into the story, Indigo A320neo flight 6E6594 from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad suffered damage to the radome and windshield due to heavy hail while in the air.
But thanks to the expertise of the pilot and eventually favorable conditions, the plane could be safely landed at the Hyderabad airport. Luckily, no damage or injuries to the passengers were reported.
The aircraft was seen with significant and potentially dangerous damage to the frontal part. Another good thing here was that the hail damage happened just moments before the landing at the Hyderabad airport. This meant that the aircraft could be landed before further damage to the body or the equipment.
