A Pizza Delivery Boy of leading Pizza Chain, Dominos who delivers in Malaviyanagar of Delhi is tested positive for Coronavirus. According to sources, he was showing symptoms of coronavirus for around 20 days when he was finally tested recently. His COVID-19 test results came out on April 14, showing him positive for coronavirus.
Authorities have identified 72 families in Malviya Nagar, Hauz Khas area that he had visited in the past 20 days. They are put in Home Quarantine. Seventeen other delivery boys who have worked along with him were also put under institutional quarantine.
Some of these orders were placed via Zomato, the Food Delivery Service. Zomato clarified that the person is not his own staff and some of the deliveries made by the concerned restaurant. Swiggy and Zomato have registered a dip in their orders for about 70% after the Coronavirus
This new is expected to hit them further. Delhi has the second-highest number of coronavirus cases in India after Maharashtra. Over 1,500 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Delhi so far.
