Scores of police and ACB officials arrived in Chintalapudi village in Ponnur Mandal of Guntur district in the early hours of this morning and have arrested former TDP MLA, Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar who is currently the chairman of Sangam Dairy.
ACB has registered a case under sections – 408, 409, 418, 420, and 465 for alleged irregularities in the diary. It is a non-bailable case and Narendra is shifted immediately to Vijayawada after that. A non-bailable case was registered on his wife and she was served notices without arrest.
TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh has come hard on this arrest which he terms as illegal. “People are dying and the Government is not bothered. Jagan is resorting to Rakshasanandham by arresting Opposition Leaders,” he said.
“Dhulipalla’s family is known for helping people. Not an exploitation family like yours. Dhulipalla exposed the fake Insider Trading allegations of the Government with a sting operation. So, the Government is resorting to vendetta politics,” he added.
