Peddapuram Assembly: Chinnarajappa Consolidates TDP StrengthLate Boddu Bhaskara Ramarao’s son, Boddu Venkata Ramana is joining TDP in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu on June 3rd in Amaravati.

He was YSR Congress’s Rajahmundry MP candidate in the 2014 elections.

Boddu Bhaskar Ramarao was a former senior TDP leader but left TDP in 2014.

He joined YSR Congress on the condition that he be given the Peddapuram MLA seat and the Raja Mahendravaram MP seat be given to his son.

But then, Jagan only gave the MP seat to Boddu’s son and denied the assembly seat. Venkata Ramana lost to TDP candidate Murali Mohan. They were not active in the party after that.

They were not given tickets in the 2019 elections with a promise of a nominated position after coming to power.

Boddu Bhaskara Ramarao passed away last year due to Corona.

Several former ministers and MLAs from the YCP were also present at the first Vardhanthi function that happened recently.

But with TDP regaining in the district and state, Boddu Venkata Ramana had decided to join TDP unconditionally.

This joining will boost the prospects of TDP in the Peddapuram seat since the Boddu family has a sizeable vote bank in the constituency.

Nimmakayala Chinarajappa has been representing TDP in the constituency since 2014. He further consolidates his position with this joining.
