The social media wing has played a prominent role in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s victory in the 2019 elections. Prashant Kishor’s I-PAC has set a strategic trap for Chandrababu Naidu and the experienced politician struggled to notice it and ended up on the losing side.
TDP has improved a bit on social media after the elections but YSR Congress is looking to come back with a vengeance. Chief Minister Jagan in a recent review meeting revealed that the Prashant Kishor team is coming back very soon. It looks like the party is trying to activate its social media supporters ahead of I-PAC’s arrival.
YSR Congress is sending mementos to its social media warriors recognizing their services. The memento says ‘YSRCP Social media warrior’. Someone on social media has posted the picture of it, proudly flaunting the recognition by Jagan. But then, TDP Supporters are ridiculing the woman saying that it is a Paytm award.
While TDP supporters can taunt them, they should be aware of the fact that such kind of recognition by the party will motivate the social media supporters to work harder for the party. They will serve the purpose irrespective of what TDP supporters feel.
