A few days ago, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan went to Delhi and met BJP Top Brass. After the meeting, he announced that a committee will be appointed to decide who (BJP or Janasena) will contest in Tirupati By-election.
After that, Pawan Kalyan is touring Tirupati all of sudden in the name of visiting Cyclone-affected areas. The actual motto about the trip is to show Janasena strength in Tirupati and ensure BJP leaves it to Janasena.
This may be the first strategic move of Pawan Kalyan against BJP but it is unlikely to work now. BJP is on a high with back to back successes in the Dubbaka by-election and GHMC Elections in Telangana. Obviously, the party would like to carry that momentum to Tirupati.
In all probability, it will not leave the seat to Janasena. There are people who may say Telangana politics and AP politics are different and Janasena is stronger than BJP in AP. But when you are in a flow, you always tend to ignore logic. But Janasena may be at the receiving end due to that.
