With next assembly elections drawing close to 6 months now, all the parties in AP are dreaming about power. Ruling TDP is believing it would come to power again. YSRCP Chief is doing padayatra believing it could get him CM seat. Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan too is not lagging behind and has upped his ante and is hoping of realizing CM seat dream.
In the last elections, he extended support to TDP but has taken a U-turn against ruling TDP. There is curiosity about his political moves, especially about who he would tie up with for the coming elections. In the wake of his recent trip to Lucknow and other strategies, AP Deputy CM China Rajappa was asked by scribes about Pawan teaming up with YSRCP. The Minister made interesting remarks on this.
He said if Pawan joins hands with Jagan Pawan will be at the serious loss. He reasoned it saying that a section of people are angered against Jagan’s take on Kapu reservations and that kapus are strong fort to Pawan Kalyan…under such circumstances if Pawan joins Jagan it would spell catastrophe for Pawan. When asked if that social caste is supporting TDP, China Rajappa said that TDP government gave over 3000 crores for the kapu corporation and said he finds no reason why that social caste should alienate from TDP. When asked if they are open to alliance with Pawan he said why will they say no to parties that are willing to walk with TDP.
