Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party just won one seat in the recent elections with Pawan Kalyan himself losing from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka. This has come as a shock to the party supporters. 120 of the party candidates lost their deposits in 137 constituencies it has contested. The defeat has completely demoralized the party cadre.
Pawan Kalyan himself is disappointed but has to pull up his socks to save the party. As Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning all the Local Body Elections almost immediately, Janasena will be under pressure to perform in these elections. So, Pawan Kalyan has to rejuvenate the cadre and leaders before the notifications.
Pawan Kalyan is going to review the party’s position in all the districts and announced committee from village level to the state level. All the party candidates who are not demoralized with the recent results will also be given due importance in these committees.
Choosing these committees will be extremely crucial for Janasena’s survival in the next five years. The committees will be a mix of seniors and enthusiasts. Pawan Kalyan will have a special meeting with the party candidates in Mangalagiri Office on Monday.
