Pawan Kalyan SilentAndhra Pradesh Government has thrusted 2011 Ticket Rates on Vakeel Saab and all the films from now. This has send jitters down the spine of the exhibitors and they are now forced to close the theaters. The rates the Government presses would not even recover the Power and VPF charges.

The B and C centers in Andhra Pradesh are going to shut down from April 16th as a protest. The Theater Owners who have invested Crores of Rupees on Renovation, Sound Systems, Projections etc are now left in a lurch. Not a single industry biggie came forward and called this Vendetta Politics.

Leaving aside them, it has been one week since it happened and Pawan Kalyan did not even stand for his own film exhibitors. Pawan Kalyan speaking on this issue would put pressure on other heroes on Mega family and others in the industry. But now the trade is left to fend itself.

Some exhibitors opine that Pawan Kalyan is doing this intentionally. “He has been trying to showcase himself not interested in politics. He says so repeatedly. May be he is concerned that talking about the issue will showcase him fighting for his film interests. Maybe he feels that would not augur well for his political image. But he should spare a thought for 100s of families depending on films for their survival,” they say.
