A couple of Survey agencies have given their Exit Polls for Tirupati Lok Sabha By-election in Andhra Pradesh. No surprises in guessing the winner, YSR Congress will be winning Tirupati with the advantage of being in power and after all that happened on the polling day.
There has been so much curiosity over the second place with some enthusiastically predicting BJP to come second. But both the survey agencies predict TDP coming second and puts BJP in distant third position. BJP is given a little over 7% Vote Share in both the surveys which also means the party’s candidate would also lose the deposit.
The candidate is expected to get a 16.5% Vote Share to get the deposit in an election. BJP would content with the fact that it managed the distant third position unlike in 2019 where it ended in the sixth position. Janasena’s support and Pawan Kalyan’s campaign did not make much difference.
It is up to Pawan Kalyan to decide if BJP deserves the respect he is giving until now. It’s also time BJP stops bullying Janasena just because it has power in Delhi.
