Janasena President Pawan Kalyan seems to have silently moved away from Amaravati Agitation. Pawan Kalyan stayed away from the agitation for a couple of weeks initially as he is on a holiday and later when he hit the ground, he finished the entire show in just one day.
Even though the local leaders of Janasena are supporting the farmers, Pawan Kalyan is totally missing. Sources in the party tell us that Pawan Kalyan is afraid of losing support from the people of Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema regions. “So the support is more like a formality,” the source added.
Opposition Leader Chandrababu Naidu is consciously staying away from the party since the Ruling Government is trying to add caste color to the agitation of the farmers. With Pawan Kalyan deserting them, Amaravati farmers are running out of options. It has to be seen if the Central Government and the courts interfere in the issue.
Meanwhile, the agitation of the farmers reached the Twentieth Day today. Over 30,000 farmers have given 34,000 acres of land for the Capital under the Land Pooling Policy. They are sternly opposing the Government’s demand to trifurcate the Capital.
