Telangana IT Minister, K Taraka Ramarao had taken up this Mission Save Weavers in the past few weeks urging everyone to wear handloom clothing at least once per week. All of sudden, Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan also entered the fray.
Pawan Kalyan has agreed to be the brand ambassador for the handloom products as requested by a delegation of AP Telangana Weavers Association at his party office. He offered to participate in a Satyagraha to be the voice of the poor weavers who are suffering and resorting to suicides.
Some see this attempt of Pawan Kalyan will help KTR’s effort. But then some other see this as a faceoff between both the leaders. Whatever it maybe, it will be good at the end if their endorsement will help the betterment of the lives of poor weavers.
