Pawan Kalyan Going Overboard to Claim Credit for TDP Victory in 2014?Janasena President Pawan Kalyan seems to be going overboard in claiming the credit for TDP’s victory in 2014 Election. The other day, Pawan Kalyan was saying that Janasena ensured TDP’s win in many constituencies where the party otherwise would not even get 1000 votes.

This seems to be a funny argument since TDP has no such constituencies anywhere in Andhra Pradesh since its inceptions. Pulivendula is the only constituency TDP did not win since 1983, the year of its formation. Even there, TDP always got a significant number of Votes.

“He is making ridiculous claims to showcase his party as significant. Even in the worse scenario in Telangana today, we do not have such seats. TDP is a party with history and not a parttime party like his or his brother’s Praja Rajyam,” a Senior TDP leader claimed.

In a recent interview to a media channel, Pawan Kalyan has claimed that he has added 16-18% votes to TDP in the last elections and now Janasena’s tally has improved to 31% Vote Share. We will have to wait till 2019 to see how the party really performs.
