Janasena President Pawan Kalyan had released an open letter to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He brought to the notice of the Chief Minister that construction has come to a standstill because of the crisis in the construction industry on account of non-availability of sand.
“We have learned that the Government will come up with a sand policy in September First week but it is important for the government to take care of the building works until then,” Pawan Kalyan said. He urged the government to bring a fool-proof sand policy to eradicate illegal mining.
Pawan Kalyan mentioned that his party wanted to give 100 days time for the new government to settle down but has to break that promise because of the plight of the building workers. On the side, due to the crisis, Sand prices have shot up by multiple times in Andhra Pradesh and Corruption has also become rampant.
