pawan-kalyan-backs-off-telangana-becauseIt is general knowledge for us that Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan has been operating the party activities with Hyderabad as headquarters. Hence, the party chief felt Jana Sena could create impact in Telangana too. He even made an announcement to that effect saying Jana Sena would contest in the election and within no time he changed it saying they would contest in 24 seats due to lack of cadre.

However, as days are drawing close to elections, Pawan came up with the much expected reply of not contesting in Telangana. Even though the reasons shown are lack of cadre and leadership for the party in the other Telugu state, it is learnt that Pawan felt that the Telangana election result could have a strong reflection in the AP elections which are to follow soon. So in order to avoid any impact on AP elections he dropped the idea to contest. Pawan is of the hope that his party would come to power in Andhra.

Meanwhile, some political observers feel that Pawan backed off as his party might cause a vote split in the state and it could swing in favour of the Mahakootami and he may be vehemently against this and could have dropped from contesting.
