Andhra Pradesh Government’s Prestigious Pattiseema Project has got a place in Limca Book of Records. This is a recognition for linking Godavari and Krishna Rivers in very less time. Andhra Pradesh government achievement this in just 173 days.
Due to Pattiseema Project, Andhra Pradesh was able to divert more than 50 TMCs of water from the Godavari to Krishna Basin this year. Due to this, Rayalaseema has got never before water from Pothireddypadu this year.
When Chandrababu Naidu mooted the idea of Pattiseema, the hell broke loose and the opposition was hounding him and baying for his blood alleging that the project is a big scam. We still remember the visuals of Opposition Leader Jagan Mohan Reddy mocking the project in Assembly but all of them proved to be wrong.
