Chandrababu Naidu was a regular invitee of the World Economic Forum summits when he was the Chief Minister. Back then, YSR Congress used to comment that all those visits are a farce and went even to the extent to say that the invitations have been bought by Chandrababu Naidu.
Freebies obsessed YS Jagan Mohan Reddy never got any invitation for such summits but finally, there are media reports that World Economic Forum has invited the Chief Minister to attend the summit which happens in January next year in Davos, Switzerland.
It has to be seen if Jagan will attend the summit or stay away from the summit considering the allegations YSR Congress made when in Opposition. Jagan would rarely get an opportunity to portray himself as investor-friendly or attend such summits. So, he will be left in two minds before deciding about the invitation.
This is the first time WEF has invited Jagan even though the IT Minister of the neighboring state, K Taraka Ramarao is a regular attendee for every summit.
