Parle, the popular biscuit producing company, recently made it known that the factory in Vile Parle will be shutting down as it has not been in use for a while. The factory which was inaugurated 87 years ago will now soon be shut down and the smell of freshly baked biscuits which will no longer fill the vicinity has brought up some nostalgic feelings in people.
Needless to say, people on Twitter had some reactions. While some think it’s sad that Vile Parle and Parle are parting ways, others are wondering about a “life without Parle-G”.
The residents of the area have also voiced their opinions regarding the surprising decision. People who live near the facility located at the factory said that they looked at the factory as a heritage site and feeling sad to see the shutdown.Follow Mirchi9 on Google NewsThis Week Releases on OTT – Check ‘Rating’ Filter
