The First Phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project is operational and the initial response is exemplary. But then Parking Problems are plaguing the commuters as the concessionaire L&T is yet to ready the parking facilities at the stations.
As there are no parking facilities, commuters are just parking their vehicles over the foot parking nearby places increasing the traffic hassles. Some Private persons are collecting charges for such illegal parkings as well.
Police are taking away the vehicles parked in non-designated places and imposing Challans. Commuters are angry how they can use Metro when Parking Places are not ready. HMRL is yet to reveal the parking charges as well.
