Tamil Nadu Acting Chief Minister, O Paneerselvam had ordered converting Jayalalithaa’s Residence, Poes Gardens as Amma’s Memorial. This is a master stroke from Paneerselvam as it comes as a big blow to Sasikala. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Aspirant has shifted her entire family to Poes Garden after the demise of Jayalalithaa.
Poes Garden is a Landmark Address in Tamil Politics and those who know Tamil Nadu Politics very well aware of the importance of this address. Even if Sasikala becomes the Chief Minister, she can not overturn the decision as it will send wrong signals to the public.
On the other side, Paneerselvam also wrote to the banks to freeze all the accounts of AIADMK. He clarified to them that AIADMK constituency gives no rights to Sasikala to remove him as the Party Treasurer. It has to be seen if banks will tilt towards Sasikala or Paneerselvam in this issue.
